November 28, 2019 we had a CEO talk with Fatima Katigbak to talk about business.This year ABM students led the CEO forum and did a good job. This is our second CEO forum and this time its different from other speakers we had last year and this year. Mrs. Katigbak’s presentation is awesome and here is why.

Mrs. Katigbak’s business was a family business and it was a Funeral holmes. She wants to pursue law school but their business is not doing good that is why she is forced to led her family business. She continue her business and make it big, by the help of her consultant. Her business grew Big, because she overcome her weaknesses and her problems. In business there is always a risk waiting for you to give up, but I respect those people who overcome their problems with risk, thus they make their business grew because they make themselves strong and not giving up. So that is the lesson that Mrs. Katigbak shows us and this is the conclusion of our CEO talk.

 

Do grades define you as a person? Do grades will help you in life? Do grades make things easier? These are the questions that people told about themselves when it comes to grades. Grades don’t define yourself as man but grades do really matter for high school and for entering a college. Many people are depressed about their grades, but working hard and being gritty about your grades is a must to make things impossible to possible. Intelligence is not all about one’s ability to learn such new things, but one’s willingness to learn new things. Many people think about grades really don’t matter, so they just sit there and do nothing because they think that grades will never help them through their life in school, so when the time comes when they go to colleges and the result of their average in grades is not that high and did not meet the same average requirement so they have no choice but to go to government colleges, but don’t judge those people, they can still success in life even though they did not go to the college where their course is most appropriate but still they will success if they work hard and with grit.

Some people yell at their child when they got low grades and make their child depress because he/she thinks that she cannot do it, but if you saw you child holding his/her car with low grades, don’t just yell at them instead told them to keep it up, motivating your child is the best way to make them positive at school and in life. Good grades don’t guarantee the successful life, it will just help you in your education but they don’t determine you as a person and your future life, because everything will change and that is what people are, they are changing because they adapt in their surroundings and when you have work you will adapt to your and you will do your best because that is your work.

Me as a person received a judgement from other people because when I was grade 1, I am naughty as a student I teach some kids to play instead of studying, so I got low grades and this is where people judge me and they told me that I cant be a doctor or any good passion that I may achieve and they told me that “no one will acknowledge you because you are so stupid kid”, and this is where I motivated because they do not know me, but thank to their comments I changed myself and when I stepped grade 3 this is where I got 2^nd honor which is the highest achievement for my elementary days, until grade 7 when I met students which likes to play sports I stopped studying and instead I play again and again, and then I got an average grades which is the lowest is 83% and when I changed my school in to public school in Tagaytay, many people there are doing bad things, such as smoking, selling marijuana in school, and engaging in gang war. I am very small when I was grade 8 and I think many people will bully me because of my size but I am not afraid of them because I when I was grade 7 I’ve battled many competitions of taekwondo and I know how to defend my self and to control myself from anger. So when I got in the room many big students are looking at me and I did not stop walking until I reached my chair which surrounded by beautiful girls and a 2 funny boys, and then 1 week has passed, the new game got come out which is called “Mini Militia” and then all of the students are playing in school and then I started to play also and got addicted and when they told me that we will play mini militia as a classmates, I am rejoiced because they approach me with good manners even though they look like bad person but they are good to others, and then this is where I started to bully them at game like I stomped all of them in the game and then they did not get angry instead they praised me, and that time the gamble started in school because of that game and then we fought 50 sections undefeated because of me and then I got so popular in school and many big students follow me everyday day like they were my bodyguards at school. Until grade 9 I got tall and my grades are getting high even though I did not study very well at that time, and then I realize that getting good grades does not affect me as a happy person, because being happy is inside me and no can take it away from me. Its like just like being intelligent person, if you are intelligent in life you will success even though you got so many failures. Grades do really matter at getting education but grades will never define you and your future life.

 

Peace means freedom from disturbance, it is originated from Anglo-French pes and Old French pais meaning reconciliation, silence, agreement, and wholeness. Our world does not have peace, everyday the world is always in war because of terrorist attack or disagreement of between 2 parties. The world is needed to be at peace because humans create war because of their problems to the other people, every year there are a lot of deaths because they can’t control their angry towards other people and that will destroy the peace in such area. Peace and freedom aren’t the same but occur in the same time, peace is the absence of violence and free from disturbance, while freedom is the state of being free of not being enslaved. If Peace and Freedom is occurring at the same time it means we can live in a better future as no hatred, war, and enslaving people from darkness that is occurring so it means the world turned on how it is supposed to be if there’s freedom and peace occurring at the same time. We can find peace to our self also because once you throw away your all problems in life, you can create strong relationship with other people or you can find peace also by relaxing yourself outside looking at stars, because it relaxes your mind and body. When I was a kid, I can easily find peace with my friends as we go outside ringing some doorbells at our neighborhood, throwing some rocks in to the river, playing text or pogs, and playing hide and seek. We can find peace through playing and not minding the things that can easily get rid off our peace, living in late 20’s is such a wonderful things that happen in my life, because nowadays kids loves to stay inside the house playing some games and having no experience outside with other people but I know that their peace is playing some video games but when I was a kid playing things that can harm us is our peace and no one can stop us because that is our freedom to play anything that is dangerous to us.
Our world nowadays is very dangerous as some people make war with each other like there is no ending at all. In some places like Syria, Iran, and Mindanao is the only place that I have known for always having a war with the government because of terrorist attack even in places in Philippines like Tondo Manila there is always gang fight and it never stop because of their pride and I can say its very bad to our world as it never end and there will be no chance for having a peace after all. These days me as a person who likes nature, I always think about nature I always like looking at mountain views and sitting or sleeping under the tree because it makes me to forgot all bad things that ruining my presence in life that is why when I met new people or friends I always don’t make fight with them because it will just make things worse. For me the word peace is easy to get if we unite each other and respecting other people because with that things we can make this world a better place to live because if we continue this life without having peace at all many innocent people and animals and plants will die because many people likes to make war with such things. So as fast as possible we need to unite with each other because humans are the only living creature in this world that destroys their own world and this world just engage in self destruction because of humans. Peace is very important in our life because we can find true happiness with each other and peace is achievable by being true to ourselves. Peace and harmony can bring this world in beautiful paradise for aliens(hehe) peace can help develop mankind we need peace in our world because we only borrow this world from God and we need to protect and maintain it we can have peace through trusting yourself, opening to someone you trust and moving towards instead of moving away, we cant enjoy life if we don’t have peace because peace makes us happy and gives us true happiness in life and that will make us free from any disturbance that can offend us. For me religion is the reason why we don’t have peace, because God doesn’t require us to have religion as long as we have faith in Him, but people fight over religion because they think their religion is better than other religion. That is why I don’t trust religion these days because I realized that religion divides every person that lives in this planet, but I cant remove my religion but I can show respect to other religion and they also respect mine and we can also make peace with each other because we unite as humans, as the keeper of this world. For me, will be an end for war and hatred in this world? My answer is yes there will be an end for that such things that can make us hate each other, so as long as there will be a true leader who wants his fellow men to have true happiness it will be the start of having peace in this world, a true leader with 5C’s can make a strong relationship with other people because a true leader doesn’t want more power and money but does want make his people happy. So, for me we need to do things that can reunite us once again as once “humans” to make this planet at peace and with happiness and with that there will be no problems and disturbance that can make us fight again with each other.              Last Friday we have a CEO forum with some of my classmate’s mom, she is a medical doctor, an artist, and a manager of some companies. Ms Carstensen is a doctor with very artistic skills, she can make candles and own a restaurant that is why she decided to pursue being an artist and also she can heal you also with her medical skills. Ms Carstensen owned a big companies, the only things that I am familiar with some of her companies is the famous Candlelight Cafe in Batangas, that restaurant compose of delicious foods and some of her homemade candles and she train some people there to master their skill in art. The problems she faced while working with her passion is that she said some people think there is no success in art that is why her company is not that very recognizable the time she’s establishing her passion with art but these days she is very popular with her candle works and with her art designs, so when it comes to art people think its a joke but in reality all things are composed with art that is why we have beautiful world and she said, she is delighted with her art skills and with that she is successful with her life because of her artistic skills. Its very important to learn some lessons with this kind of speech beacause it helps you motivate yourself to be a hardworking human so that success will chase you and its very important to continue your dream without hesitation and just continue it even though people say bad words to you, just keep fulfilling your dreams and you will be granted a successful life.

Listening to one of the greatest successful person in the world is very helpful, UniLab a company that produce high quality medicines all over the world comes in stony to talk with us, a Vice President of UniLab come to our school to talk how to be successful in life, He talks like we are his kids, like he is telling a story, that is why all of us are listening, the V.P of Unilab is very good to us, because he lets us to go to the one of the factory of Unilab in Sta.Rosa Laguna. He said that if we work hard in life we will be successful wihtout knowing that we are getting on the top of the world because we are workig hard and cannot notice the good things that are happening to us. He said choosing a right career for myself is very important, these days im deciding what career will I pursue, so that in the future I can pick what is my skills that is appropriate in my chosen career. He also said that pick a job that you like the most, because he said that if you pick that, you cant notice any boring ti.es when working, just because you love your job, that is what he call job satisfactory. He said engineering is very stressful, but he work hard to be a successful engineer and he is a V.P of a big conpany that is bigger than any kinds of comapany.

At the last minute of the disscusion or career talk, he said that working hard is always good and will never be lost in part of our life. He also said that working hard in chosen career will lead us to a successful living organism in life, and that will make a difference to other living organism. And this is my last sentence because I dont have anything to say anymore, thank you for listening, thats 1 minute see you tommorow!

Unilab is one of the greatest manufacturers of medicine in the whole world, all of their products have been imported to other countries and they check it as a well manufacturer of a medicine. One day we go to amherst lab, one of the unilab’s finenest lab, once we get there we saw so many people eating because its their breakfast time and i can see in their faces that they love their work because its their fashion.

The first place we go after breakfast is the AVR room, they introduce what’s the unilab and their works inside of their laboratories. While the workers there are talking in front of us, my friends and I are sleeping because the scent of the AVR room is like a crushed medicine, we feel so very sleepy but miss richzel is there to check us wheter we’re sleeping or not HAHA.

The first part of unilab that we go to is where solid medicines are created, we saw so many medicines are being checked and its amazing because the “REFRIGERATOR” beside me is the storage room for medicines and its big, very big, also when you go inside the solid plant you need to dress up like a scientist to protect all of their medicines that is why it feels so great that time. The 2nd part of unilab that we go in is the liquid plant, we saw how the liquid medicines like cherifer or other liquid medicines made by unilab is all packaged one by one and its very organized, also when we look at where the liquid medicines are bwing created, we saw a big “UFO” like object and that thing amazes me because that thing actually is where all liquid medicines are being mixed and i think it can go upto 1000k or 1 ton of medicine hehe. The last part of unilab that we go is the delivery part of unilab, this place is so noisy and its so hot, all of people there are working so hard that they sweat too much, organazing the packages is not easy because you have to check EVERYTHING before exporting and its so hard because the place where all packages is being stored is bigger than my school and you check them 1 by 1.

Travelling in a new place is more fun when you learn something at the same time. Learning through new things can help me alot and going to Unilab is my real thing because working with medicines is fun. So going to Unilab help me to choose what career am i going and help me to learn how the laboratory works.

I. Introduction

January 19, 2019 I’ve watched the play “Ang Mansanas na Daigdig” at Big Ben Lipa City by Lipa City Actors Company. The play is very beautiful because they can manipulate your mind into smething unimaginative beauty. This play depicts social realities, particularly of the problems of poor. It tells a story of a couple who has no money to buy food for their children.

II. Background

Kenneth Mercado is an actor of Mario, Carmel Mariveles is an actress for Gloria, and Carlo Aguila is an actor for Pablo. The Play was centered to Mario because he is a main character, all of the things that happened in the play is focused on Mario. Also the director of the play is Luisito Nario, a founder of Lipa Actors company.

III. Analysis of Element

The settings of the play is at home where most of the scene there have taken place of their house. My theme was Poverty derived from its own title the World is an Apple as the characters believe that Apples are only for rich, it symbolizes the wealth that lower class people can never afford which causes them to o bad things.

The Characters of the story are Mario, Gloria, and Pablo. Mario a husbnd of Gloria who lost his job ehich will led him doing unacceptable things. Gloria is a loving and thoughtful mother and wife. Pablo is the antagonist of the story who will give Mario the urge to get back from his old life. Also Tita is a sick daughter of Mario and Gloria. Here are some examples of plots in the play, in introduction Mario got home and later on Gloria found out that Mario was expelled from his work, when Pablo comes into conversation, everything was changed, in the end gloria beg for Mario not to go with Pablo but Mario ended up in Pablo’s side.

“Ingatan mo ang sarili mo at si tita at iyon din ang gagawin ko sa aking sarili” this dialogue is best from all dialogue because you can see here that Mario decides to go with Pablo’s and leaving Gloria alone with tita. The props and their costumes are beautiful, you can see some swing, chairs, and boxes there, its beautiful, also their costumes are beautiful, because they are well-dressed. The sounds and lights are beautiful, the changing in colirs while the play is ongoing is perfect and it affect the visual interpretation of our mind, the blue, red, green, and white represents something in the play and it makes me feel great because of the lights. The sound also is perfect because the sounds are perfectly fitted in every scene and the technucal group do a great job because without a sound its hard to watch vecause you dont know what’s happening.

IV. Comparison

While reading the story of “The world is an apple” is very sleepy because it is so long but while watching the play “Ang Mansanas na Daigdig” it feels great because you can see what you cant see in reading the story. You can see theur emotions while acting and it makes me feel so amazed not like reading it only makes me sleepy.

V. Conclusion

It was shown in the play that poverty pushes some people to fo bad things, they will risk their life into something thar makes them to survive just to eat something. In this story it shows us that in a simple mistake you have commited it will affect your life or the lives of other people forever.

Introduction

Contemporary artworks are amazing, because it makes people happy because of the power of contemporary. Contemporary art makes my brain happy, because i love arts and it makes me happy. Contemporary art consist of Collage, 3D artwork, a self-portrait, etc. Contemporary art is not just about paintings but performance art also, i think contemporary arts makes people smile and entertained. Below are some examples of Contemporary artworks and because of this artworks I make everybody smile because my artwork is beautiful not perfect but beautiful because contemporary art is beautiful.

        Self-portrait of myself

This artwork is very scary because when i look at it and saw my face i feel darkness is coming(I’m just joking). When creating this artwork i feel happy because it reminds me the happy moments of my life throughout these years. The material I’ve used when creating this artwork are illustration board, a picture of myself, a marker, and leaves. Creating this artwork is very easy because you just put a layers of materials you will need in this artwork and layer it, make sure you will put a related materials based on yourself that’s why this artwork is called self-portrait.

Behind this art there’s a secret message, why my artwork has leaves on it? and behind the leaves, why is there a happy things hiding on the leaves. I am a shy-type person i don’t speak a lot that’s why there’s a leaves, those leaves represent my shyness. As you can see behind the leaves there’s a happy man surrounded by happy creatures that represents my happy guardian angels that gives happiness to me that’s why the meaning of this artwork is behind the leaves there’s a lot of happy things that consume me, being a shy person doesn’t mean you have no happy things happen to you, that’s why don’t judge people because time is gold, haha.

Abacca Artwork

This artwork is my favorite one, why?, just because this art is the easiest one. The materials I’ve used is abacca string and a toilet paper. As you can see this pictre is 2012, why?, just because they lost my art, that’s why i need to get some lookalike artwork in google. How i create this artwork? you just need a toilet paper and roll your abacca string around it and that’s it! Make sure you glue your abacca string or else your abacca string would not get stick into it.

The meaning of this artwork is when you have low self-confidence you just need to drink water so that your mind and your body will be refreshed and ready to take another problem. I love this artwork because it makes me a creative person because at first i don’t know what to do and then I came up with this idea and then BOOM! everything becomes beautiful and i feel happy because of this artwork. Someday I will teach other people how to create this and then someday they will also pass this artwork, because this artwork is beautiful and we need to do it for the future sake, you can also make slippers or bags using abacca, maybe in the future if you have no money to buy expensive things you just need an abacca and abacca makes it wonderful because it is nature friendly.

        Collage

I know this picture is not collage, you know why? just because they lost my artwork and i cant find it anymore, just imagine that’s a collage. This picture and my artwork is very similar, the concept on it very similar. When making collage you just need a glue, a colorful papers or newspaper if you need it, and a coloring materials. When making this artwork i feel happy because it reminds me the problems I have faced, and all of my problems are lost because of my fearless attitude.

The meaning of this collage is that you just need to stand up and be brave because if you are not brave your problem will consume you and if you have low-self esteem you need to stand up and defeat you fear. The meaning of this artwork is very important, i mean all of the meaning of the artworks are very important, this one is very common because some people have low self-esteem and they need this lesson to take their challenge and make themselves a brave person. I am a victim of low self-esteem but I take this lesson as a part of my life and now I can take any challenge without worries, that’s why this lesson is very important.

Conclusion

Contemporary art helps you in your needs, this art makes your life beautiful and makes you smile, that’s why some of my artwork talks about happiness and self-esteem, because for me this art is happy and this art makes you happy either you create it or not, because this art is HAPPINESS. I make this artwork because i want to feel to other people what i feel when creating this art, i feel happy of course, every art is beautiful you cant deny it. I’ve learned in this lesson that you need to be happy in order to make beautiful production, i know some sad person can make beautiful art, for me art is everything you can do any arts base on your ideas and i believe in you. My theme is happiness because i feel happy all the time that’s why all of my artwork is happy like me, i mean look at them, they are smiling on you because they feel happiness within yourself. Pumunta kaming magkagrupo sa Taal Market para mag interview para sa aming research tungkol sa puso, habang kami at nagiinterview kami ay namamangha sa kanilang malulupit na sagot, pero bago yun kami ay kinakabahn muna habang nagtatanong kung pwede bang mag interview sa kanila, yung ibang nagtitinda ay ang susungit kasi masyado daw kaming magulo, pero habang kami ay naglalakad para maghanap ng matinong kausap, may nahanap din kaming sobrangvtino kausap kahit anong sagot mo ay kanyang nasasagot kaya kami ay napatagal sa kanya. Marami kaming nakusap na matino at nagustuhan naming ang aming pag lalakad para mag interview.

Pagtapos ng aming pagiinterview sa mga tao doon, kami ay nagtungo papunta sa aming van at tinignan naming at sinuri ang kanilang malulupit na mga sagot. Habang ginagawa ang aming research kami ya nagbase sa kanilnag sagot upang matulungan kami sa aming research kung paano ito maisagawa. Pagkalipas ng panahon, kami ay natapos din sa aming research at dahil sa kanila kami ay nagwagi at naipasa ang aming Gawain. Ito lang ang aking munting Blog para sa aming Filipino sana maunawaan nyo kahit ang gulo, salamat sa pagbabasa.
